Apparently finding an article in the UB Spectrum earlier this month on BSC’s Ryan Knapp
wasn’t enough – today as I made my way through one of my favorite local sites, Buffalo Rising, I stumbled upon yet another article mentioning him: News About The Queen City Football Club.

The article is an interview with Ryan in his role as “head of public relations for the QCFC“, promoting the recently established NPSL soccer team and the beginning of their upcoming season at their new home field, All-High Stadium. Ryan’s been talking about the stadium for a couple weeks now – he tells us the pitch is beautiful and the seating is even covered on one side.

Tickets for the season look to be extremely affordable & odds are good you’ll run into some BSC players at the games – we hope to see you there too!

As a fellow UBer, I was shocked when I opened the April 4th edition of the UB Spectrum and saw an article featuring a huge picture my cohort here at the site, our very own Ryan Knapp:

(It’s 4×6 in the printed edition!)

The full article is a good read, titled “Soccer blogging, haven for hooligans”. It can be found here: http://spectrum.buffalo.edu/article.php?id=36293.

Amongst other things, it details Ryan’s involvement with Center Holds It, a site covering most of the different soccer leagues of the world.
