BSC International 4 - Clarence 1

After receiving a thrashing from some of the BSC Ultra supporters during the post game festivities (minus some risque pictures from one Fox Salehi, I will now finally update the site, yay.

Anyway, BSC International come out on top 4-1 against Clarence at Clarence town park.

The first half was dominated by BSC, who maintained the lions share of possession and opportunities on goal as well.  Mike Farrell, Marc ‘Spanish’ Campillo and Ryan Knapp all had chances on goal, but could not find the mark.

Three minutes into the game, BSC keeper Frank Callocchia was beaten by a Clarence forward and what looked like a sure goal was cleared off the line by Pat ‘I’m the best looking’ Callocchia.  In a post game interview, Pat confirmed that ‘Clearing the ball off of the line is like scoring a goal.’  So yes Pat, you did score.

The defense for BSC was rock solid in the first half, not yielding a single clear goal scoring opportunity to Clarence.

The second half was a different story as Marc Campillo opened the scoring thanks to a great through ball from Mike Farrell, which allowed the recently signed Campillo to beat the keeper to the far post.  1-0 BSC.

BSC kept the scoring rhythm as this time, Mike Farrell scored a goal of his own.  Ryan Wolfrom played a fantastic ball into space for Ryan Knapp, who beat the keeper and passed in front to a wide open Farrell who calmly placed it into the back of the net.

After several minutes of Clarence pressure, they finally got on the scoreboard as a pass played into the 6 yard box fell onto the feet of a Clarence striker, who placed it into a wide open net.

As the tempo of the game seemed to be changing, BSC did not falter, and Farrell scored his second goal of the night after another fantastic pass from Ryan Wolfrom sprung Farrell in the box, who hit a volley far post past the Clarence keeper.

Ryan Knapp would end the BSC scoring on the night as Wolfrom again played Knapp into the box and Knapp slotted the ball past the Clarence keeper, who appeared to jump out of the way of the screaming blast.

The game ended 4-1 and BSC ended the season on a three game winning streak.

My personal man of the match was Ryan Wolfrom, not for any of his phenominal passes on the night, but for the absolute worst set of passes known to man where he failed not once, but twice, to pass the ball to a wide open BSC player, only to his the Clarence defender in the face.  Well done Ryan.

  1. Hahah good write up. You forgot to mention the sweet after party we had.

You made it all of 4 updates through a 10-12 game season. Awesome job homedog. :)

  2. I would like to point out that once again, as soon as I stepped off the field, that was when the goal was scored against us…

As for the lack of updates, have no folks our very own Ryan Wolfrom will (the only guy who reads/comments on the site) will have posting abilities for the upcoming season.
